Circuit in the North of Senegal , in the Center of Senegal and in Saly
Arrival at the airport and transfer to Chez Salim hotel (or similar) near Lake Retba (Pinke Lake). Overnight stay.
Morning: Visit of Lake Retba, followed by a 4x4 ride on the dunes and beach, reminiscent of the Paris-Dakar rally. Afternoon: Transfer to Lompoul desert. Dinner included, followed by a camel ride on the dunes. Overnight in a desert camp (Camp du Désert, Ecolodge, or similar).
After breakfast, depart for Saint-Louis. Check-in at Cap Saint-Louis hotel. Afternoon: Horse-drawn carriage city tour.
Morning departure to one of the world’s top 3 bird reserves. Visit by pirogue (traditional boat), then continue to KOBA Ecolodge. Late afternoon: Visit a local Peulh village. Overnight stay in traditional huts.
After breakfast, visit the Grand Mosque of Touba. Continue to Toubacouta, check-in at Diosfala hotel (or similar). Afternoon: Pirogue ride through the mangroves and birdwatching areas.
After breakfast, excursion to Joal-Fadiouth. Stop at the largest baobab tree, then visit the Shell Island. Transfer to Saly and check-in at Bougainvillée hotel or Appartment Cascade (or similar).
Free day for relaxation at the hotel. Lunch not included. Optional paid activities: visit to Bandia Wildlife Reserve or observe fishermen returning with their catch.
