The journey starts with arrival near Lake Rose, including visits to the lake, salt activity, and sand dunes, followed by the Lompoul Desert and a camel ride. It continues to Saint-Louis for historical tours and Fulani village visits, then to Touba and the Saloum Delta for canoeing and birdwatching. Stops at Palmarin, Joal-Fadiouth, and Saly include cultural sites, relaxation, and a safari at Bandia Reserve. The tour concludes with a visit to Dakar and Gorée Island before airport transfer.
Arrival at the airport; transfer to the Salim Hotel at Lake Rose or a similar one.
After breakfast, visit Lake Rose and the salt harvesting activity, followed by a 4x4 ride over the sand dunes along the beach. Then continue to the Lompoul Desert. Check-in at the Mauritanian tents, followed by a camel ride through the desert dunes. Overnight on a half-board basis.
After breakfast, head to the Langue de Barbarie in Saint-Louis for a visit, then continue to the city of Saint-Louis and check in at the Cap Saint-Louis Hotel. Overnight on a half-board basis.
After breakfast, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage tour of the historic island of Saint-Louis. Then continue to the Ecolodge KOBA. Upon arrival at the camp, settle into the cabins, and after a relaxing break, visit the Fulani villages. Overnight on a half-board basis.
After breakfast, departure for a visit to the mosque in the holy city of Touba, guided by a local disciple of the Mouride brotherhood. Then continue to the Saloum Delta, on the island of Mar Lodj. Overnight on a half-board basis at the Nouvelle Vague Camp.
After breakfast, enjoy a canoe excursion on the Saloum River, visiting the mangroves and observing various birds and shell mounds. Then continue to Palmarin. Overnight on a half-board basis at the Palmarin Ecolodge.
Excursion to Joal-Fadiouth, visiting the Shell Island and the marine cemetery where Muslims and Christians rest side by side. On the way, we will stop to visit the great Baobab tree. Then continue to Saly and check in at the Bougainvillee Hotel around 5 p.m. Overnight on a half-board basis.
After breakfast, go on a safari in the Bandia Reserve to see the animals: giraffes, zebras, antelopes, Cape elands, Derby elands, gazelles, buffaloes, tortoises, crocodiles, green monkeys, red monkeys, etc. In the afternoon, enjoy some rest and relaxation.
In the morning, visit Dakar and Gorée Island, and in the afternoon, depending on the flight schedule, transfer to the airport. End of services.
